Hello,
My names is William (Will) Jones.
I am from Lincoln, England, and have been teaching English since 2014.
I have worked from Summer camps in England to Language schools in Bulgaria, online and in person, working with children to teenagers to adults.
With my students, past and present, I create a strong and lasting relationship. Through general conversation at the beginning and at the end of each lesson we can discuss various topics to build that relationship, whilst at the same time allowing you to build your confidence in English. Having a friend by your side on any journey eases off some of the pressure, makes it less scary, and allows you to enjoy yourself. In the classroom I like to keep an open and relaxed atmosphere, meaning the pressure is off and you can learn at your own pace.
Although speaking, and listening, take a primary role during the lessons, we will also work on what you want to work on, for instance, if you want to improve you writing skills, or reading skills, together we can work towards achieving your goals. At the end of the day, what we focus on in the lessons is totally down to you, and we can be very flexible with what we work on.
I have worked in Estonia, and most of my students had Russian as their mother tongue. Because of this I have an understanding of what needs work on, for example definite (the) and indefinite (a/an) articles. Having this experience and knowledge helps me to help you, and prepares me better for what difficulties may arise, and how to easier correct any mistakes.
